The Rent A Bar Way

We provide everything you need...

Outlined below is the foundation included in each of our packages.

The Bar

Stylish bars ranging from 3 metres in length.


We licence the bar ready for use at your chosen location.

The Stock

A large variety of quality branded alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are provided including any special requests.


Draught beer and ale pumps are standard on all bars


Professional fully trained uniformed staff are provided including a glass collector


Disposable plastic, solid reusable plastic and standard glass are provided in accordance to your event.

Marquees (extra)

We can provide our own marquees at additional costs.



FAQS - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much will it cost to have Rent A Bar at our function?

A: We are free of charge to have. All we ask is that during the course of the event we take a minimium of £500 takings over the bar. We ask for a £100 deposit to secure your booking.

Q: What areas do you cover?

A: We are based in Thanet so mainly cover the Kent area. We also have a sister company in South Wales.

Q: Can we theme the bar to match our colour scheme?

A: Yes. The beauty of our bars is that they are very adaptable and we are happy to discuss how it can be best matched to your colour scheme and theme.

Q: Can you provide Glass hire?

A: Yes we can provide a selection of glasses for you to hire, ranging from champagne flutes, water glasses and wine glasses, at very reasonable prices and usually cheaper than those charged by caterers.  Please ask us for more details when you make your booking

Q: Do you serve cocktails?

A: Yes we have a selection of cocktails that have been carefully chosen to meet everyone’s needs. We would also be happy to tailor a speciality drink or cocktail to meet your needs.

Q: Is it true Rent A Bar makes donations to charity events?

A: Yes any charity based event we take part in we make a donation to you for having us there.

Q: What happens about the licence and how much will it cost?

A: The licence is provided and paid for by Rent A Bar's personal licence holders.

Q: We have children and guests that do not drink alcohol, can you supply drink for them?

A: Yes we have a wide range of soft drinks and non-alcholic beer.

Q: If I wanted a particular drink could you get it for me?

A: We have a very large selection of alcoholic and non alcohlic drink, as much as you would find in most pubs! If we do not have a drink you would like if you inform us before the event we can get it in for you. We only use top brands such as Coca cola, Smirnoff, Fosters etc.

Q: If you are free does that make your drinks expensive?

A: Our prices are equivalent or cheaper than your local pub.

Our Next Event...

Glass Hire, reception drinks and a new portable bar to hire.

We offer glass hire for your special event, this includes wine, water and champagne flutes all at 20p each. 

We are also offering reception drinks Pimms, Prosecco and sparkling wine from £1.50 ph.

We have a new portable bar that you can hire for your garden parties or parties.  This is 2ft x 2ft bar with a built in beer pump and cooler.  It also has the option for 4 optics.  Prices for this start at £175 which includes an 88 pint keg of Fosters!!!
